**About the role**
The Implementation Lead / Senior Implementation Consultant participates in all stages of the implementation lifecycle (discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, post-go-live support), under the direction of the Delivery Manager, and may lead one or more activities.

As a Lead, you will help guide customers on how best to utilise the platform, best practices, implement superior workflows to their business and help automate many tasks. You will be a change leader, educating customers through the digital transformation and bringing them along for the Journey. You will challenge requirements ensuring they are best fit for purpose, stray true to delivery, identify scope creep early minimising impacts to delivery early on.

Responsibilities include gathering customer requirements, configuring the solution to meet documented customer requirements, setting and managing customer expectations, providing guidance, identifying risks, and communicating issues to the Project Manager.

**Product**
The product you will be implementing will be an Enterprise Insurance Platform, akin to an ERP dedicated to the Insurance industry allowing them to fully run their business or be delivered as microservices plugging in modules into the customers environment. This is a bespoke platform, built using Java, and is highly configurable allowing for most business workflows to be carried out in the platform as well as features to be added based on customer requests.

**Essential Functions**
- Provide Implementation Services to Customers
- Document and validate customer’s business requirements
- Conduct consulting sessions (on the phone and in-person) and document meeting minutes
- Attend internal project meetings and provide status on progress of activities and deliverables
- Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise
- Be a “go-to” resource for specific functional areas for both internal and external users
- Contribute to internal Implementation initiatives

**Desirable**
- Experience with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment
- Experience within the Insurance domain
