**The role**:
This pivotal leadership role within Delivery Services Branch is required to develop strategic, operational and tactical resource management plans to ensure current and future programs and projects are resourced with the required right skillset, at the time they are needed, and that those people resources are used as efficiently as possible and support the delivery portfolio resource requirements. The position is also responsible for managing and maintaining resource reporting requirements and resource optimisation and utilisation.

A key focus for the next 12 months is on implementation and embedding of the delivery portfolio resource management framework; and establish and manage mechanisms to understand supply and demand requirements for program and project resources that includes a flexible project portfolio resource pool by skill set based on available capacity levels.

**Key Selection Criteria**:

- Proven ability to establish and manage the provision of resource demand and capacity planning including contract management services to support the timely provision of people resources to a number of largescale, complex information management, information communication and technology (ICT) and digital programs and projects. (SFIA Skill: RESC: Level 5)
- Proven ability in providing expert advice on, and direction in communicating insights into patterns of resource and skillset demand. (SFIA Skill: DEMM: Level 6 and CNSL: Level 5)
- Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to influence key stakeholders. (SFIA Skill: RLMT: Level 6)
- Proven negotiation, consultation, facilitation and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment. (NHS: Influencing for results)
- Proven experience in leading, managing and mentoring an effective multi-disciplinary team. (NHS: Holding to Account) (NHS: Developing capability)
- Ability to use high level interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and communication skills appropriate to all stakeholders to create a strong client focus (NHS: Influencing for results)
- Ability to clarify complexities and articulate a compelling vision of change. (NHS: Sharing the vision)
