The role
In a collaborative and connected team, the role of Associate Director is to effectively prepare and deliver high quality outcomes to existing clients, and support the Senior Account Director to drive the growth of these clients and to support pitching for new clients.
Our Associate Directors manage client projects from briefing through to design, delivery, analysis and reporting, providing high quality outcomes for our clients each and every time.
The day to day
- Prepare written research proposals drawing upon H&P IP, existing knowledge from team members and one's own experience to ensure the best possible proposal is submitted.
- Ensure research proposals are priced and timed correctly, maintaining previously agreed margins and that proposal fee calculations are based on quotes from suppliers.
- Design effective fieldwork materials that get to the heart of a client's business challenges or research objectives, drawing upon knowledge from team members to ensure the best possible outputs.
- Manage the project inception and input of relevant information into project management systems.
- Effectively and efficiently manage the day-to-day work requirements and communicate with the Senior Account Director on the work.
- Work with the fieldwork suppliers and actively monitor the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the data collection process.
- Work to analyse and interpret the research data to formulate relevant, valued and actionable findings for clients.
- Develop meaningful reports that include strategic insight. Reports should ‘tell a story' that informs and inspires client decision making.
Who you are
- A research professional, with demonstrable experience in a similar position.
- You are curious by nature and question the status quo both in terms of ways of thinking and working.
- You have experience working in a collaborative environment, where you have worked towards establishing win/win scenarios for your team and your clients.
- You have delivered on multiple research-based projects from briefing to design, analysis to reporting and are comfortable presenting project outcomes to clients.
