**Position Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) or Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) to join our growing team. This is a full-time, onsite role where you will work closely with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals to design and implement effective behavioural support programs and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs). You will play a key role in shaping positive outcomes for children with diverse needs, while contributing to a collaborative and nurturing workplace.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct comprehensive behavioural assessments and develop individualised intervention plans and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) for children and young people.
- Deliver direct therapy and provide ongoing behavioural support to clients and their families, ensuring interventions are compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based.
- Collaborate with speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to deliver holistic care.
- Train, supervise, and mentor therapy assistants and junior staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
- Monitor client progress, adjust intervention strategies and BSPs as needed, and maintain accurate documentation in line with best practice standards.
- Engage in regular professional development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
**Required Qualifications and Skills**
- Certification as a Behaviour Analyst (CBA), Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA), or relevant experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, education, Master’s in ABA, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience working with children and young people with autism or developmental disabilities.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles, Behaviour Support, and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and family-centred care.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Current Working with Children Check and relevant clearances (or willingness to obtain).
