**THE OPPORTUNITY**

Where no two days will be the same and as part of the Maintenance team, as a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for general maintenance on bus shelters across the Melbourne Metro /CBD area and it surroundings suburbs as well as advertising posters within your assigned area. Your day will be a variety of jobs, including but not limited to:

- Maintenance of bus shelters within your designated area (glass clean up, fixing of seats, totem poles, bus shelter structure, insecticide/weed killing, and the overall general cleanliness of the bus shelter
- Graffiti removal and minor repairs
- Fortnightly posting of advertising campaigns as well as mid and special posts throughout that fortnight (including posting and maintenance of sites at shopping centres)
- Securing potentially hazardous sites
- Monitoring and reporting of damages and faults
- 100% adherence to strict policies, procedures and code of conduct
- Maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle
- compliance with WHS policies

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Previous experience with basic hand and power tools
- Asset maintenance experience preferred but not essential
- Punctuality and reliability a must
- Full Drivers Licence and have a clean driving history
- Ability to also pass a pre-employment Drug & alcohol check, driving history/licence check and reference checks.
