**Part time Gardening maintenance and property person needed on private property.**

We are currently seeking an experienced gardener to join us in maintaining our property. We live on a very nice private property, and there is lots of gardening to do.

About the Role: The role will begin with mainly servicing a large private garden, as well as some rural duties like tree pruning, fire break maintenance, etc.(this is optional but desired).There will also be property maintenance like, repairing retic, cleaning cobwebs, cleaning the pool, cleaning the paving, and a thousand other small jobs needed to keep the large private property tidy and clean. From time to time there maybe new projects on the go that need all hands-on deck, like fencing, new gardens, etc.

Rate of Pay: $32-$40 p/h depending on knowledge and experience.

General gardening and landscaping duties

Hedging, trimming, brush cutting, mowing, whipper snipping

Turf management Ride on mower experience essential

Weed/ Pest spraying

Conservation and plant identification works

Horticulture

Tree pruning and other related duties

About You: Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks without supervision

Eagerness to learn new skills

Willingness to work mainly by yourself. But occasionally with others.

Optional qualifications requested but not essential, would be.

Ability to operate a small farm tractor, and relevant implements. ( training can be provided.) Preferred, but not essential.

Good horticultural knowledge for the relevant plants and relevant treatments for sick plants. ( not essential)

Your checks/tickets and licenses: Current National Police Check

Australian C Class Driver's License

Eligibility to work in Australia.

It’s a great job, on a nice property with low stress, you will be your own boss most of the time, and you must be a self-starter. Please don’t waste our time if you are just looking for a labouring job, and don’t have the relevant above-mentioned talents. Rate of pay is slightly flexible depending on your qualifications and your work pace. We work on a one day, one week, one month trial, then a 3-month review, to make sure that it works for all of us. if you are interested, please reach out. this is a long term position.
