**In this Associate Director Divisional Controls - Markets role, you will**:

- Identification of control gaps and weaknesses, looking for opportunities for making controls both automated and preventative rather than detective.
- Identification of risks and appropriate indicators to monitor trends and manage risk in the Business.
- Assist the Business to implement PACE process and controls mapping.
- Advise on control self-assessments for the Business to ensure business owners are aware of and understand the operation of all controls within their responsibility.
- Manage activities to help the Business ensure core metrics are within threshold.
- Work with Controls Performance to ensure testing of controls is planned and performed effectively.

**What you will bring**:

- Demonstrated experience in risk management and compliance disciplines and/or experience in Global Markets will be highly regarded.
- Previous experience in CIB Business with expertise in risk and control, to provide guidance and assurance to business stakeholders, highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and stakeholders’ management skills.
- Excellent time management with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail with the ability to identify matters that require further analysis and investigation.
