QinetiQ has reached an agreement to acquire Air Affairs, and as a result of this expansion we are recruiting key functional positions to support us on our growth journey.
Reporting to our Internal Communications & Employment Brand Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting the execution of our business and people strategies through the delivery of effective internal communications and employer brand marketing strategies. You’ll craft and deliver content that inspires and engages current and future employees alike.
This role was designed to be part time (0.8) but applicants seeking full time hours are welcome to apply.
**So the role? The key focus of your role will be to**:
Support the delivery of the internal communication and engagement strategy
Develop rich, relevant content for the editorial calendar; ensuring communications are fresh, creative, and engaging
Support content creation for internal communications
Supports content creation for social media channels, programs, events, and campaigns to build an attractive and compelling employer brand, including creating rich and creative content for social media, our website, recruitment platforms, media and events
Promote and coordinate internal events and engagement activities
Create opportunities to tell our internal story externally and supports campaigns to highlight QinetiQ’s employer brand
**As our ideal applicant, you’ll present with**:
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building inspiring narratives, developing speaking points, and crafting written pieces for executives and technical audiences
Sound understanding of how communications, leadership and culture intersect
Experience turning brand ideas into content that inspires and engages
Experience with change management and information dissemination across a multi-disciplinary workforce
A general understanding of analytics and post-campaign reporting
Excellent understanding of the digital industry, the latest trends and how to use this to deliver great creative across all platforms
Relevant qualifications
Whilst not essential, experience producing and managing content on social media channels including LinkedIN, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube for both paid and organic executions will be highly regarded as will experience with Photoshop, graphic design skills using the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of products including Premiere Pro and After Effects and/or Sharepoint experience.
Due to the nature of our work, you'll need to be an Australian citizen and eligible for Australian Defence security clearance.
