An opportunity exists for an experienced Production Manager to join our team in Jandakot with availability for an immediate start.

Ogilvie & Co is Australia's premier gourmet food manufacturer with a strong focus on outstanding quality. We are seeking a self-motivated, reliable individual who has proven experience in leading teams. You will possess exemplary communication skills, have excellent time management and be able to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee all aspects of production and demonstrate a hands on management approach in a food manufacturing environment.
- Lead and actively participate in the HACCP team by undertaking verification, monitoring, internal auditing and corrective actions as required.
- Coach and develop team members to promote an inclusive and enthusiastic workplace with a goal-oriented mindset.
- Lead day to day operations of site facility including developing, reviewing and executing manufacturing processes in line with company standards.
- Plan production in accordance with sales data, raw material availability and budget requirements.
- Meet determined production targets and perform associated administration.
- Identify and implement operational process improvements.
- Lead with and encourage a safety first attitude with a strong focus on OH&S practices.
- Develop and review food labelling in accordance with FSANZ standard.

Pre-Requisites:
Essential:

- Strong knowledge of and experience with HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Proven experience in team management within the food industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy - familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Sound understanding of food allergens and their appropriate handling.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise work under pressure.
- Sound knowledge of safe food handling practices.

Desired:

- Qualifications in competitive manufacturing, HACCP and/or commercial cookery a strong advantage.
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience highly regarded.

All workers must have full working rights in Australia on a permanent basis.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
