**About the Role**

The current conditions continues to challenge the ways organizations think about doing business, raising many questions about what the new normal will be - if you understand how the future finance function can drive greater business value and translate business strategy into an enabling change strategy, this is the role for you

As a **Workday Regional Finance Lead **you will work with the ANZ leaders and field sales organisation to position and drive the growth of Workday's Financial Solutions in ANZ, which will enable you to:

- combine your understanding of the local market, finance and consultative selling skills to optimally position Workday’s unique value proposition within a complacent enterprise software industry that is mired in legacy technologies
- build relationships that drive deals to a successful conclusion
- work with both internal and external team members to build a strong and multifaceted ecosystem to support your efforts

**About You**

In joining Workday, you'll be joining fellow Workmates who values collaboration, delivering real positive business impacts and working towards positive outcomes. What we need from you is:

- Deep financial skills working with finance teams and CFO's, bringing experience of business transformation in medium and large enterprises, preferably across multiple industries.
- A relevant ANZ market understanding to support market development and pipeline generation activities.
- An appreciation of the Finance function of today and the challenges that are faced, with an ability to quickly understand current state to co-create desired solutions
- Confidence in developing and leading executive relationships by conducting business driven discussions with CFO’s.
- Ability to lead & support external events as a participant or keynote speaker.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or CA - preferred)
- 15+ years experience working within finance and/or with finance executives.
- Experience with finance transformation (preferably in a consulting role).
- Prior SaaS/Cloud experience (preferred not essential).
