**EL1 - Senior Systems Administrator, Technology Operations**:

The Library is seeking to fill this role of Senior Systems Administrator, Technology Operations on an ongoing basis.

This is a specialist technical role which also forms part of the Section’s leadership team.

To be the right contender for this role, you need to be an experienced, seasoned and suitably qualified Senior Systems Administrator.

In this role you will:

- Develop, administer and maintain operating system, virtual & physical infrastructure, database, storage, network, corporate backup and business continuity/disaster recovery infrastructure.
- Manage and support key corporate systems and infrastructure by collaborating with in-house developers and external vendors to install, upgrade, configure, tune and troubleshoot Library services.
- Ensure IT Security, Change Management and Procurement Policies and Processes are followed.
- Be responsible for preparing documentation, correspondence and reports that conform to legal and procedural aspects of their functional responsibilities.
- Provide in-depth knowledge and expert advice on complex issues, working across a broad range of activities that potentially relate to the work of different program areas and/or stakeholders.
- Undertake project management, technical lead or project team member responsibilities to undertake and/or assist with research, planning, procurement and implementation of new/upgraded IT infrastructure and services.
