**The Role**
As the General Manager of Product, you will shape the future of our client’s education services and products in the Aged Care sector and beyond. You will provide operational and strategic leadership to their two primary product development divisions, supporting their effective collaboration to create inspiring, engaging multimedia and e-learning-driven content to meet both current and future client needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to the organisation’s strategic planning process, and ensure content is aligned with needs and delivery preferences
- Drive research into innovative production technologies and new content ideas
- Shape and plan production activity across market sectors and geographies, manage financial and operational risk, and drive business
- Oversee the development and delivery of content (online, video, and multimedia) to support people-focused storytelling and effectively communicate messages to target audiences
- Maintain external client relationships, scope projects, and develop proposals and pitches to the market
- Ensure that production/delivery is cost-effective in the context of competitor value propositions, customer preferences, the cost to product and time constraints imposed
- Provide strong, clear leadership to the learning development and production team through the provision of clear goals and targets aligned with Altura Learning’s strategic plan
- Provide comprehensive reports to the CEO as part of the Executive Management Team, including production planning, learning content, industry and legislative changes, and business opportunities
- Experience imagining, designing, and building highly interactive, visual, and contemporary e-learning solutions
- Proven ability to motivate, engage and drive teams to achieve agreed outcomes
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop budgets, and implement project monitoring frameworks
- Highly developed stakeholder management, relationship management, and communication skills
