**About the role**

We are seeking a motivated team leader who has a great eye for detail, excellent communication skills and a passion for gardening. As a team leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team of gardeners and apprentices performing maintenance and improvement of gardens across numerous sites.

**Key Responsibilites**
- **Maintenance**: Mowing, hedging, weeding and general upkeep of gardens
- **Pests and diseases**: Identify and rectify pests and diseases in plants
- **Leadership**: Lead by example and provide a working environment where all team members feel included
- **Team organisation**: Ensure that all members of the team are working efficiently and performing tasks to a high standard
- **Customers**: Professionally answer any queries that customers have, and provide advice when necessary
- **Improvement**: Assess gardens and maintain a constant eye for improvement

**About you**
- Prior experience as a team leader in the industry (Certificate III in Parks and Gardens or Horticulture preferred)
- Good work ethic and time management skills
- Drivers licence (Manual preferred)
- Ability to work overtime when required
