Ikea Business Manager

Who you are
You love sales, have a passion for home furnishing and have a desire to lead and grow the business. You understand the local market, our consumers, specifically business customers and their business needs.
You have experience managing and leading a retail store or a large home furnishing department with demonstrated success in driving sales growth. You have an energetic leadership style; thrive on the buzz, you can only get from those unpredictable days. You have the ability to influence and communicate effectively and are a true customer advocate, that provides rapid customer-focused problem solving with a smile on your face.
You are also available to work across the store opening hours, including some late nights and have weekend availability.
**Responsibilities**:
As IKEA Business Leader, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Optimising sales and profitability by using knowledge of the range, my customers, my market and the competition
- Lead and collaborate with the commercial team and other stakeholders to plan and implement commercial activities and offers that will attract and convert more business visitors to customers.
- Ensure we maximise the use of all external and internal media and activities to become the first choice for furnishing solutions in the local Business community.
- Acting quickly on commercial opportunities and customer feedback, as well as keeping an active eye on competition, supply, and performance analysis.
- Work actively to identify and build long-lasting relationships with the local business community in order to increase their awareness of how the IKEA offer can meet their furnishing needs and grow our business.

With the Sales department leading the customer shopping experience, not only do we need to have extensive knowledge of the IKEA product range but we’re constantly finding new ways of making real connections with our customers to maximize sales and profitability within the IKEA Vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
