We have a Coordinator opportunity available at our beautiful service in Boronia.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the school
The Boronia Heights OSHClub is lucky enough to have access to a plethora of spaces for play. Inside, the staff share a room with the STEM teacher, but with their own office and storage space. This shared space means that there is a large amount of cooking and bench space that can be used in incredible cooking and science experiences. Outdoors, students can be found playing on one of the two playgrounds, on the basketball court, or on the large oval or running track. The shade sails make these areas accessible in almost any weather.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids, and experience leading a team Strong and clear communication, and a team player Able to work split shifts Monday to Friday (have the middle of the day free) during term time Relevant qualification according to ACECQA (check their website for more info) Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights
