**About the role**
As a Service Manager we are looking for someone who has previous experience as a Manager within the disability sector and preferably has led the development and implementation of programs. This is a great opportunity to grow and develop skills in your career. You will be leading the way in delivering programs to clients to achieve their goals
It is essential that you are an outgoing, creative individual who enjoys mixing in and supporting others. You will have a direct hands on role with the people we support, including the development of new programs and supports, as well as administrative responsibilities including rostering and leading a team of community support workers.
Responsibilities include:
- Ensure high-quality services are consistently provided to clients and their families
- Lead and support a team of Community Support Workers
- Oversee and manage daily operations of your support services and, where required, provide direct support to people with disability
- Manage programs within the approved budget and are in line with client needs and support plans
- Provide coaching and developing opportunities, manage conflict and address performance within your team
- Contribute to the growth of Sunnyfield through the development and expansion of your service, client acquisition and retention
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate IV in Disability/ Human Services or similar is preferred
- Experience in a leadership position, within in the disability or aged care sector preferred
- Current knowledge of quality service provision for people with disability
- Good knowledge and experience of administrative practices, procedures and processes
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, set priorities, and meet deadlines, accompanied by an ability to handle a number of tasks concurrently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
- Well developed written and verbal communication skills
- Have a NSW Working With Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
