As a TAFE Teacher you will have the opportunity to impart your extensive industry knowledge and experience to students using a variety of delivery methods including in the classroom, online, and workplace. The Role
We have an exciting temporary part-time position (0.5 FTE) available until 23 October 2026, unless otherwise determined. Join our Educational Delivery team in Nursing and Health Care at TAFE Queensland's Toowoomba Campus, with potential travel required across the region.
As a TAFE Teacher in Nursing and Health Care, you have the opportunity to influence the careers of future industry persons by sharing your extensive industry knowledge to students in a classroom or other educational setting.
This position reports to the Educational Team Leader.
Salary
The salary range for a TAFE Teacher is $44,899 - $59,264 (gross) per annum (pro-rata), depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.

Mandatory Requirements
Applicants must possess a Bachelor of Nursing, and the following:
current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided;
current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided;
evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment;
current Queensland Driver's licence.
Additionally, to become a TAFE Teacher, you must hold one of the following training and assessment credentials:
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (or TAELLN401A) and TAEASS502 Design and Develop Assessment Tools (or TAESS502A or TAEASS502B); or
TAE50111 Diploma of Vocational Educ
