We have an amazing opportunity for a dedicated Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team.

Healthy Lifestyles Australia (HLA) has provided dietetic/nutrition, exercise physiology and diabetes education services in Queensland for the past 15 years, currently servicing more than 120 rural and metropolitan medical centers and facilities. We specialize in chronic disease management and prevention, however can assist in a wide variety of cases (e.g. sports performance, aged care consultation, insurance, public speaking, exercise group classes, etc). Our mission is to promote healthy lifestyles in the Australian population and to prevent and manage chronic disease through physical activity and nutrition.

**About The Role**

An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Receptionist to become a part of a proactive company. You will be providing high quality reception and secretarial services to the patients, and staff of Healthy Lifestyles Australia.

You will be working from our Ipswich Office on a full-time basis (5 days per week) with one day per week working out of our **Head Office Located in Lowood**. Saturday work will be required.

**Training will be conducted at our Head Office in Lowood**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Answer the phone in a courteous and professional manner.
- Make appointments for clients via our online booking system (Coreplus).
- Data input into computer systems.
- Liaise with patients, families, Support Coordinators, GPs, serviced surgeries, and other health professionals.
- Support contractors of HLA in an administrative capacity.

**PLEASE NOTE**: This is a fast-paced reception environment that makes and receives a large volume of calls each day. You must be comfortable and willing to answer and talk on the phone to book patients in and assist with their enquiries.
- Competent typing skills (60wpm or more)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive
- High attention to detail for data entry
- Knowledge and/or experience with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
- Experience using Core Plus or an appointment booking system, Medical Objects, and OneDrive and/or have experience working with new and unfamiliar software programs (highly regarded but not essential).
- Have previous experience as a receptionist or experience in an administrative environment (highly regarded but not essential).
- Competent communicating effectively with a variety of people in person and over the phone.
- Have excellent time management skills and ability to operate independently
- Be committed to developing their skills in a positive longer-term commitment to Healthy Lifestyles Australia.
- Competent with IT (desirable)
