We are a well established NDIS service provider that has rapidly grown our specialised areas of support coordination and individualised support over recent years - with over 400 staff delivering services across Queensland.
As the NDIS sector enters a period of significant review and structural change we are seeking an experienced Executive leader to assume operational oversight of the Disability Supports Service, as well as lead a full strategic review of the future of our service within the sectoral context. Reporting to the CEO the GM DS will be supported in this review by DS Service leadership and the rest of the Executive team, ultimately reporting to and finalising the strategy with the Mercy Community Board.
Due to the review process this role will be for an initial 12 month contract with the permanent structure and tenure of the role to be finalised as part of the review process.
You will need to have strong management skills including financial, human resources, risk, compliance and quality, as well as strong relationship development, negotiation and communication abilities, including management of diverse stakeholder relationships.
You should also ideally have the following key characteristics:
- Formal qualifications in in a services related field (Psychology, Human Services) and/or qualifications in business administration and change management with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior executive or management role.
- Demonstrable experience successfully leading the delivery of a financially sustainable and high quality business or community division at an executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and hold accountable an innovative multi-disciplinary management team.
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of the NDIS and how it works and using this to identify related business development and service innovation/improvement opportunities.
- Strong financial management success and a proven track record of exceeding financial goals.
- A values oriented professional who is a decisive decision maker with the capability to prioritise and communicate key objectives and necessary strategies to achieve organisational goals in direct alignment with Mission.
