Retail Sales Assistant

We are a well-known Australian jewellery company that has been producing exquisite, handcrafted sterling silver and gold gemstone jewellery for 15 years. We are now looking for retail sales consultants to join our team in our flagship jewellery gallery on St Kilda's busiest retail strip.

Reporting to the Gallery Manager the Retail Consultant is responsible for providing exceptional customer experience to our shoppers. To be successful, you will be upbeat, flexible, dynamic and eager to learn

**How will you contribute?**
- Providing our customers with exceptional service and assistance, both in store and through various channels.
- Ensuring KPI's are achieved, both in sales, customer satisfaction and store operations
- Support the gallery to operate effectively, in compliance with internal policies and procedures
- Assist with stock management and ensuring maintenance of inventory
- Assisting in maintaining the in-store operations ensuring the gallery is always clean and tidy
- Process Point of Sale purchases
- Acknowledging and resolving customer issues with respect and care while in compliance with internal policies.
- Processing, packing and dispatching web orders to ensure the product arrives safely to the customer and is received in a timely manner.
- Use strong attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of service
- Working within a small team and using clear communication to ensure the company works efficiently.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene
- Work closely with the Designer and Gallery Manager to help clients create bespoke pieces.
- Supporting the team in all processes as necessary, this may mean allowing for flexibility within your role and working outside of the scope.

**Who are you?**
- You have previous and proven experience in retail sales and KPI achievement
- Very driven to offer unique and engaging service and are looking for a career in high end retail
- Ability to self-manage and problem solve
- Past experience in assisting in store operations including; inventory, merchandising, cleaning, paper work etc
- Open to change and the ability to grow, develop and adapt as needed
- Ability to use initiative and be a strong team player
- Great attention to detail
- The ability to work well within a fast paced and energetic team environment
- Self-motivated and willingness in meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Ability to listen and use feedback constructively
- Excellent client service skills and a passion for exceeding client expectations

**Salary**: $48,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
