As a Coordinator you will enable the team through clear direction and support, providing training, feedback and being a role model for others.
You will ensure that technologies are used effectively and appropriately within the department. This includes the use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and mobile devices. AGVs are robotic devices which enable the movements of materials, food, and linen to reduce your walking distances and reduce the risks of manually handling materials and equipment. Mobile devices and technology will assist your department in being responsive.
**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Ensure Patient Support Assistant activities are delivered in accordance with policy and procedures, within budget and report on variances.
- Maintain appropriate information management systems to ensure accurate and timely salary remuneration for staff by ensuring amendments/changes to rosters, attendance, leave, etc. are promptly forwarded/imputed to HR/payroll.
- Communicate with all Services within the facility on matters relating to service delivery.
