About the opportunity- Develop and implement individual and group activity programs.- Encourage resident participation based on interests and abilities.- Assist with outings, events, and special celebrations.- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation and feedback.- Collaborate with care staff and families to tailor activities.- Monitor and report changes in residents’ behavior or mood.

To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.- Creativity in planning meaningful activities.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Understanding of dementia and other age-related conditions.- Basic computer and documentation skills.

You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check- Certificate IV Lifestyle & Leisure- Certificate in First Aid and CPR- A minimum of 12 months of experience in a similar role within the aged care sector, with a strong understanding of older adults' needs and preferences.
