Trades Assistant

Carpet Court has plenty of work, and we need someone to assist the team with their work. You don’t necessarily need any experience - just a keenness and willingness to learn the carpet trade. You’ll assist in laying flooring, mainly carpet, in a variety of different spaces, from residential homes, to large commercial spaces throughout the Snowy Monaro region working with one of our well respected and experienced installers and assisting in the warehouse.

- Positive and proactive attitude
- Desire to learn new skills and take direction
- Attention to detail and aptitude to measure and use tools
- Drivers licence
- White Card (or willing to obtain)

This offer is a casual position 32- 38 hours a week, with potential to become Full Time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

**Salary**: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jindabyne, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Point of Sale (POS) software: 1 year (preferred)
- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
