**What we trust you to deliver**:
- Ensure the development and implementation of existing systems (documented and technology) to streamline and maximise operational usage.
- Coordinate, drive and monitor operational stakeholders in their preparation and completion of WHS Key Performance Indicators.
- Provide timely responses and quality reviews for submitted events and inspections using Council systems and processes
- Work with operational stakeholders to ensure systems meet changing work/job specific and general Council WHS risk Management solutions and programs in alignment with legislative and regulatory requirements to ensure workplace risk control measures are practical, implemented and effective in controlling risks.
- Support WHS Advisors and Leadership in incident and hazard reporting programs and support timely and thorough incident, event & observation investigations and assist in the development of action plans as a result of investigations and corrective actions
- Assist in the development and formatting of high-quality document, presentation material, training material, and internal and external reports in support of operational stakeholders.
**What you will need to be successful**:
- Certificate IV in Business, IT or related field. Extensive experience in WHS systems, Information technology and administration
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- SafeWork Construction Induction Card (WHS White Card) or willingness to obtain
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to initiate, build and maintain strong and effective partnerships across all organisational levels.

**Term Contract**:70 hours a fortnight with a nominal end date of 11 March 2026.
**Salary**: From $91,183 (Grade 16 Entry) per annum + superannuation

**Conditions of Employment**:Conditions of employment are in the Local Government (State) Award and relevant Council policy, procedures and agreements.
**Pre-employment Screening**: Prior to employment, there will be a series of pre-employment checks that may include, health assessments, validation of right to work in Australia, validation of qualifications and licences, criminal history checks, psychometric assessments and referee checks.
**Immunisation Program**
Council has an immunisation program to provide employees with vaccinations against known health risks associated with their respective duties and to identify any exposure to products that may affect an employee’s health, fitness and wellbeing. This position has been identified as a risk to the employee and as such the successful applicant/s will be required to participate in the immunisation program and it is the applicant’s responsibility to have undertaken relevant immunisation/s prior to commencement with Council.
