**The Role**

Due to the rapid growth of our company and one of our busiest periods, we are looking for motivated and experienced, **full time,** **office-based** **Warehouse Manager,** that will report to and assist the Operations Manager to supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of merchandise in our warehouse. The Warehouse Manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions.

**Responsibilities**

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

- Overseeing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implementing operational policies and procedures.
- Implementing and overseeing security operations.
- Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensuring the safety of staff.
- Motivating and disciplining staff.
- Waste management, making sure the warehouse is neat and tidy.
- Occasional driving the truck (car licensed) to pick up stock between from the Nelson warehouse to Silverwater warehouse.
- Occasional driving the truck to deliver the stock to job sites.
- Daily physical receiving of goods onsite
- Assist with unloading stock from delivery trucks upon delivery.
- Verify receipts and dockets to confirm purchase contents and orders are complete.
- Accurately investigate and report any stock delivery discrepancies (value & quantity)
- Coordinate and record internal stock transfers
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency of company’s processes
- Ensure compliance with the Company’s Policy & Procedures
- Prepare structured reports of the auditing activities and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders as necessary to ensure goods are being allocated to the correct projects
- Maintain accurate records of all goods received including damaged goods
- Ensures stock rotation and storage procedures are conducted to minimise loss.
- Maintains regular, clear, and effective communication with all departments to ensure their needs are met.
- Assist with the placement of orders to replenish stock.
- Analyse data to anticipate future needs.
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
- Report on stock levels
- Any ad-hoc finance tasks as and when required

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager
- Has great knowledge on the warehouse logistics to assist with implementing processes and procedures in place.
- Physically fit, be able to lift up to 25kg.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Highly organised, enthusiastic and motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- **Crucially, doesn't mind driving the truck to pick up stock from between the Nelson warehouse & Silverwater Warehouse. Also deliver stock to job sites.**:

- The working hours will vary between 6:30am-4pm depending on the week.

**We are currently situated in the Hills District; however, we’ll be moving to the new office in Silverwater early next year.**

This person will be starting next year, mid-January to early February.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
