**About the Opportunity**

To carry out Gatehouse Security duties at a client site in accordance with Certis Security Australia standard orders and site instructions, in compliance with all relevant State and/or Federal legislation.

**Availability to work on rotating rosters (24/7 Availability**). Our site is based in **Toll Melbourne Airport VIC 3045. **Will be hired on a **Full-Time** basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and directing of the drivers, employees and contractors
- Confirming eligibility of persons entering site buildings as per client protocols
- De-escalation of conflict with any drivers / contractors and ensuring the safety of persons and staff
- Following the direction of the client and foster a working relationship to ensure positive outcomes
- Team environment
- Recording data of vehicle movements
- Conduct regular audits
- Paperwork and seal verification
- Fast pace environment
- Site patrols outside of operational hours
- Bag & vehicle inspections
- Traffic management
- CCTV and Access Controls Functions
- Site Safety
- Inductions
- Periodic verification and granting of access to authorised persons through turnstiles
- Shift timings: Rotating 24/7 12 hour roster
- Free Secure Parking on site

**About You**
- Current VIC Security Licence
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Valid Driver's Licence and access to own Vehicle
- Cert 2 In Security Operations
- Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Previous experience as a Gatehouse Security Officer (highly regarded)
- All applicants must be Fully Vaccinated (COVID Vaccination)

**Salary**: $23.00 - $49.00 per hour
