**About the role**

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the Energy Security Safeguard which is an important component of the NSW Government’s Net Zero Plan.

As the Manager, you will lead the policy development process and bring a strategic lens to the way we implement different policy frameworks. You will work collaboratively across Government to drive better energy outcomes for the people of NSW.

This role will be instrumental in bringing together our approach to regulating the Safeguard so that we can achieve the Government’s sustainability ambitions.

We are looking for an effective communicator who can work collaboratively with others and build strong relationships. A genuine interest in and understanding of the Energy Security Safeguard’s strategic priorities for NSW will help you excel in this role.

The salary range for the position is $157,088 - $169,170 per annum + superannuation and annual leave loading.

IPART undertakes independent regulatory functions in the water, transport, local government and energy sectors in NSW. It is the Scheme Regulator and Administrate for the Energy Security Safeguard. We also undertake reviews and investigations into a wide range of economic and policy issues.
