Are you a motivated Early Childhood Educator who would like the opportunity to be part of a team of high quality Educators to operate a small long daycare centre to serve the local community?

If so, this might be a great opportunity for you to shine where you will help lead the way in being part of a beautiful 20 place service located in the Sutherland Shire suburb of Caringbah, NSW.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent), or willing to work towards a Diploma qualification
- Previous experience in an Early Childhood Service
- Proven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
- Proven experience in educational programming and observation analysis
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011), Family Assistance Law (Child Care Subsidy 2018)

**POSITION OBJECTIVES**:

- Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff, and management to deliver best outcomes for families and children.
- Develop and contribute to the educational program under the direction of the Educational Leader, Centre Director and Approved Provider to provide a high-quality program for all children.
- Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures under the direction of the Lead Educator.

**All applicants must also have a**:

- Current _Provide an Emergency First Aid response_ _in an Education and Care Setting_ qualification
- Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Accredited Child Protection Training
- Understanding and working knowledge of WHS legislation
- Ability to program and provide high quality programs for all children.
- Possess excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
- A strong work ethic

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $23.64 - $34.00 per hour
