**Your new company**
Hays Recruitment Ballarat have partnered with a well known organisation responsible for supplying quality products within the Trade space, they are in need of an experienced Store Manager, this role is open to Assistant Store Managers looking to take the next step or an experienced Store Manager wanting a change, ideally you will have experience within the Trades and Labour sector

**What you'll need to succeed**
- As an experienced Store Manager you will be responsible but not limited to the following duties:

- Controlling and directing staff to achieve the company goals & objectives.
- Responsible for achieving sales and purchasing budgets as provided.
- Responsible for directing Sales Representative to target new accounts in all sales products.
- Directing staff to carry out their job responsibilities efficiently as possible.
- Plan product training for staff via our various suppliers.
- Responsible for ordering product from various suppliers.
- Ensuring that there is continual monitoring of slow-moving stock with the view to moving it on.
- Follow up with staff and external representatives on results of monthly specials.
- Plan various specials and promotions within the branch shop.
- Monitor staff activities to ensure that they are providing the best advice and service that we can.
- Provide a monthly report to management on activities within the branch. These include sales results, competitor activities, supplier promotions, any other activity that is relevant to the business.
- Ensure your management style is inclusive to allow you to bring your staff along with you to achieve the best results for your branch.
- Responsible for the revision and analysis of company performance to produce quality management reports
- Build credibility with business units through provision of first-class internal stakeholder management
- Supplier negotiations, bulk purchases
