Established for 50 years, TriCare is one of Queensland's largest private owners and managers of retirement communities and aged care residences.

TriCare's Aged Care Residences located through out the Greater Brisbane region, and we are currently recruiting at our Stafford Lakes Aged Care Residence. We are recruiting for casual and part time Catering and Housekeeping Team Members.

Reporting to the Facility Manger, you will assist in preparation of our quality, fresh-cook meals and provide excellent service to the residents. We also have casual housekeeping roles available whereby you will ensure our facility and residents rooms are cleaned and tidied to the highest standards. Laundry duties will also be required.

On offer is a variety of shifts including week day and weekend shifts. Start and finish times will vary and be anytime between 6.30 am to 8.30 pm. Rostered are created a fortnight in advance, but at times, we may call you at short notice to provide leave coverage. TriCare managers are flexible and will consider your work/life balance in planning of the roster, but at the same time, we value your reliability and enthusiasm to ensure our residents receive the best quality service.

To succeed, you will possess experience, knowledge and skills in the following areas:

- Experience working in a bulk catering role, preferably in an aged/health care environment
- Competent in food preparation, plating and serving
- Ability to step up to undertake the cooking function in the absence of your manager (desirable)
- Safe food handling practices and knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent and prompt food service/post-meal time cleaning skills
- Experience in housekeeping, laundry operations and /or cleaning roles
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Strong customer service ethos and empathy for the elderly
- Knowledge and adherence to Work Health and Safety guidelines.

Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination are mandatory requirements of the role.

**Salary**: $22.51 - $30.00 per hour
