Liverpool, Australia Udaya Spices Full time

Udaya is a large Indian/Asian retail business with 4 retail stores across Sydney. Front facing customer service is a key aspect of our business and we are seeking self-driven Customer Service Assistants who can oversee a broad range of our day to day customer and counter related activities and commitments at our Liverpool store.

**Position purpose**:
Undertake sales and customer service duties to assist in the operation of the Company’s retail function.

**Main Tasks**:

- Professionally arrange and replenish stock on display as required
- Attend customers at check-out counters for all their enquiries and needs
- Organise check-out counter needs depending on customer flow
- Assist with customer enquires (both face-to-face and over the phone) ensuring a high level of professionalism is observed at all times
- Managing the purchase of goods for sale in an efficient manner
- Carry out basic cleaning activities to ensure clean and tidy presentation of (store/shop) at all times
- Assist with storeroom activities including unpacking/ loading stock and inventory
- Managing the front of store area
- Handle cash

The above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the company.

- Fulfil any other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 20-38 per week

**Salary**: $21.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Liverpool, NSW 2170: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
