Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

**About the Role**:
We are currently looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team to assist our participant in Middleton Grange, NSW. Our participant is a middle-aged male who suffered Brain Injury due to a car accident in 2015 and requires complex supports.

Our participant requires support from **Monday to Saturday**

This role is casual on-going and will involve a roster that includes 2:1 support for the below shift times:

- **9AM - 12PM (3 hours)**:

- **2PM - 5PM (3 hours)**

**Pay rates**:

- **Day Shift - $42.50 p/h**:

- **Saturday Shift - $59.50 p/h**:

- **Sunday Shift - $76.50 p/h**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing challenging behaviours
- Bowel Management - Enemas
- PEG/RIG feeding and medication management
- Hoisting
- Manual handling
- Personal care
- Consistent skin checks and skin integrity management
- Vital sign monitoring
- Oral suctioning and nebulisers

**Skills & Experiences**:

- Previous experience supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries and complex behaviours
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Clearance
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module and Supporting Effective Communication Module
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check
- Full Australian working rights
- Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
