- **About the Role**
- Join Monash Health as a Mental Health Training Program Pharmacist on an ongoing, full-time basis, commencing March 2026, and be part of a structured, two-year development pathway designed to build specialist expertise in mental health pharmacy. You’ll rotate across inpatient, community, and rehabilitation settings, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.
- This is a unique opportunity to deepen your clinical knowledge, contribute to research, and collaborate with experienced educators and clinicians to shape the future of mental health pharmacy services.
- You’ll be supported by a dedicated Mental Health Pharmacist Clinical Educator and the Pharmacy Education Services Team, with opportunities to publish research and progress to Grade 2 upon completion of the program.- What Your Day Might Look Like- Deliver pharmacy services across mental health inpatient units, community teams, and rehabilitation settings
- Participate in structured learning activities and complete a research project
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and allied health professionals to optimise medication management
- Rotate across Monash Health sites and contribute to service innovation
- Support education and mentoring of interns and students
- Engage in quality improvement and contribute to multidisciplinary committees-

- You’re an early-career pharmacist with a strong interest in mental health and a passion for making a difference. You’re collaborative, curious, and ready to take the next step in your career.
- To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
- Working with Children Check
- Up to 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- A commitment to education, research, and professional development
- Postgraduate qualifications and clinical supervision training are desirable-
