The Lendlease User Experience team provide project management, design and construction services to our national and multi-national corporate clients across broad property portfolios. The Lendlease User Experience group specialises in developing efficient property portfolio solutions which involve the delivery of commercial, retail, specialist housing and fuel sector for fit out, refurbishment and building projects.

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for fulfilling the commercial function on a newly secured design and construct project including head contract compliance, optimising margin and managing commercial risk. As a senior member of the project team, the Commercial Manager will work closely with the Project Director and other project staff to provide strategic commercial and procurement support in the delivery of the project.

In this role you will also provide support on all cost and contract deliverables, ensuring that the head contract and all subcontracts are administered with best practice governance across the entire project life-cycle. The Commercial Manager will professionally manage cost and value, and mitigate commercial risk whilst assisting in maintaining client and other key stakeholder relationships.

This opportunity may suit a Senior Contract Administrator who is ready to take the step in their career into commercial management having experience within a main contractor environment in a similar project-based role on other building projects across a range of sectors including housing, commercial or the retail sectors. In this lead role you will possess exceptional stakeholder management skills, the ability to work independently to resolve contractual issues and demonstrate the drive to coach and mentor others.
