- About the role- As the Product Manger reporting to the Head of Product, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and drafting product change and innovation that reflects customer needs, adhering to legislative and legal requirements aligning to Zurich’s business strategies for the positioning of existing and new products in Zurich’s chosen market segments.- The Product Manager will manage Zurich’s product development processes, ensuring quality delivery of GI products in a timely manner and being accountable for maintaining and updating product related databases and registers.- Important to your success- As someone with a proven track record in Product Development, you will support the delivery of propositions which satisfy the strategic pricing, product and distribution objectives of the General Insurance business unit.- 3 years + insurance experience in product development, ideally in general insurance
- Experience and background in drafting product and related documentation
- Insurance industry related qualification
- Knowledge of general insurance principals and understanding of the technical aspects of underwriting, claims, risk management, pricing mechanisms and claims management practices.
- Strong understanding of end customer experience
- Strong implementation skills
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Knowledge of the relevant legislation and governing general insurance
