**About the role**:
We have an exciting Permanent opportunity for an Analyst - Financial Performance. The core function of this role is to provide business performance support to the Asset Planning and Delivery Group through the delivery of a comprehensive range of financial and accounting services. The ability to analyse, collaborate, negotiate and influence internal stakeholders will ensure success in this role.

**Key Skills & experience**:
There are a few things that we’ll look for on your CV.
- Degree level qualifications in commerce, accounting or finance or approved equivalent is required. Professional membership of accounting bodies is desirable.
- Sound experience in providing financial and management accounting services in a large multi-functional organisation.
- Considerable experience with SAP or ERP systems.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel which includes the use of pivot tables.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a comprehensive range of financial & accounting services incorporating budgeting, forecasting and business performance reviews.
- Complete end of month analysis which include the preparation of financial management reports and business performance reports.
- Provide financial, pricing advice, modelling and consultancy support to Business Units: 1) Environment, 2) Aboriginal Heritage & Native Title, 3) Asset Investment Planning and 4) Future Water Solutions to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Present and comment on Business Unit financial performance at Business Unit Team Leader meetings.
- Calculate provisions and/or maintain financial models such as the Contaminated Sites Provision Model and Labour Budget Models.
