**Description**:
ConsMin produces some of the world’s highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407kms south-east of Port Hedland. Enjoy a short two-hour flight direct to our well-equipped camp and mining operation, all only a five-minute drive from Woodie airport.
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, you will primarily be accountable for the safe and efficient execution of all mobile maintenance activities. You will also:
Ensure maintenance frequencies are adhered to in effort to prolong the life of equipment and reduce maintenance downtime.
Provide guidance, coaching and direction to maintenance personnel.
Monitor and analyse machine performance.
Analyse maintenance KPIs, safety, cost, and schedule compliance.
Plan work orders in Pronto based on priorities set by both operations and maintenance.
Be responsible for cost control and look for opportunities for improved efficiencies.
Comply to weekly and monthly maintenance schedules.
Identify and implement cost reduction and optimization initiatives.
Oversee the implementation of continuous improvement programs.
Assist with backlog review and prioritisation.
Audit previous plans for accuracy and implement improvements in future work.
**Requirements to be successful in this role are**:
Mechanical Trade Cert
Cert IV Maintenance Management (Desirable)
Schedule 26
Demonstrable experience in Mobile Maintenance and a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar leadership capacity
High level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Project and the office suite, Pronto or similar maintenance management system experience.
Excellent planning skills and an ability to understand work at a detailed level.
Concise verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience developing individuals with mínimal experience at apprenticeship levels to Senior Maintenance levels.
Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months (or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
