An opportunity exists for an experienced export sea freight supervisor to join the team with this global freight forwarder, located in Port Botany. In the role you will be responsible for end-to-end processing of export sea freight shipments as well as overseeing and supporting the existing operations team & and working closely with overseas partners.
**To be an eligible applicant you**
**must**
**have previous experience in export sea freight operations with a freight forwarder in the Australian market. CargoWise experience is highly desired.**

**Duties & responsibilities include**:

- Day to day coordination of export FAK & LCL operations including wharf delivery
- Third party billings, invoicing, reporting & EOM processing
- Oversee & support a team of export operators
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Handling escalated operational issues
- Develop & maintain relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, overseas offices/agents, customers, suppliers and internal staff

**To be successful in this role the following are required**:

- Solid industry knowledge of Export Ocean processes
- Experience with FAK, FCL and LCL shipments
- Proven people management / team leadership skills essential
- CargoWise experience is highly desired
- Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
