Reporting to the Commercial manager WA&NT, you will help to drive the WA&NT strategic initiatives by providing in depth analysis and data-driven insights. While understanding what has happened is important, forward-looking analysis will be key to help the region take advantage of opportunities and mitigate risks. As such, in this role you will drive the regional forecast and budget processes, engaging with senior regional operational leaders.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.- Perform financial analysis to review business performance and key trends against strategic priorities, identifying and implementing initiatives to drive business performance.- Provide internal and external reporting requirements to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness of financial and non-financial reporting to achieve regulatory and business outcomes.- Oversee robust review processes are in place for projects including revenue recognition, cash flow management and regular review of project costs to complete.- Drive the budget and forecast process at regional level including project data, backlog analysis, P&L and operational cash flow statements- Liaise with the Commercial Manager to prepare client data and market analysis.

What can you bring to the team?- A relevant technical qualification and technical post tertiary qualifications including CA or CPA qualifications or equivalent.- Previous experience in a similar position coupled with a high level of commercial acumen.- A proactive and analytical mindset able to draw out the story behind the numbers.
