Operations Manager

**Our client is a highly successful, innovative service and asset operator using their extensive expertise in contract management, systems, infrastructure, finance, WH&S, and risk management. They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to provide leadership in the management of all service provider contracts and relationships to maximise revenues for their key asset.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The purpose of this full-time permanent role is to provide leadership in relation to all services for our client’s key asset, including the management of all service provider contracts and relationships to maximise revenue. The main responsibility for this role is delivering the contractual obligations at a level consistent with best practice QA standards.

Key responsibilities include:

- Manage service provider performance against contracted KPIs, with the aim of maximising performance and minimising abatements
- Deliver required operational performance against QA standards within a defined budget
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders and their staff
- Participate in identification and development of revenue growth and commercial opportunities
- Execute initiatives in pursuit of approved growth opportunities and cost optimisation efforts
- Mitigate the risk of project implementation/s adversely impacting upon the business’s operations or its stakeholders
- Provide operational input into project plans and guidance/supervision to managers of all projects within the facility
- Assist service providers and stakeholders in meeting project implementation requirements
- Effectively liaise and assist in the management of stakeholder initiated capital works projects (modifications)
- Manage operations to ensure current and future financial objectives are met
- Assist with the preparation of forecasts, budgets and reports on aspects of profitability and capital expenditure, where appropriate

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in managing operations against defined QA standards in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in contract management around multi-aspect facilities or projects and the ability to manage contractual relationships with multiple service providers within a KPI environment
- Experience in the operational management of large multifunctional assets
- Experience in managing small to medium-sized projects (preferably projects that involved construction or infrastructure development and multiple stakeholders)
- Significant experience at management level, incorporating reporting obligations to boards, including internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in risk and security management including applicable legislation
- High level stakeholder management skills
- Ability to clearly articulate complex operational concepts
- Demonstrated budget management skills, including operational finance with a focus on the ability to manage costs
- Demonstrated experience in facility management, commercial contracting, environmental, social and governance (ESG) and quality accreditation, audit and compliance
