**Reliability Manager**

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**Location: Kilcoy**
This role will see you supporting the Engineering department by developing, implementing, and managing a reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategy to optimize the productivity of the plant using cost-effective maintenance techniques. You will proivde long-term leadership of the RCM programme to support the site growth strategy and ensure the reliability of equipment through a combination of predictive and preventative based maintenance approaches to complement the existing reactive teams.
**ABOUT YOU**
The role requires a high level of technical, hands-on practical experience and understanding, coupled with proven manufacturing engineering experience.
You will also:

- Drive RCM through the business in order to transform current maintenance practices and ensure the correct bias of proactive vs reactive maintenance.
- Review and enhance preventative maintenance programs through structured RCM-based approach including; FMEAs and alignment with OEM suppliers and site knowledge/experience.
- Coach and mentor the reliability and operations teams to continually improve line performance
- Support and lead the implementation and optimisation of best practice systems such as 5S and lean as appropriate into the workplace.
- Develop, manager, direct and lead the team through change
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment failures
- Optimise spare parts onsite based on RCM methodologies.
- Ensure asset and spare parts management are aligned
- Proactively identify and minimise WHS risks

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL**
You will be solutions-focused with the ability to supervise engineering and technical staff.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- Previous experience in high speed manufacturing environment
- Sound understanding of appropriate project management tools and methodology
- Proven experience to lead an engaged and high-performing team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise demands and handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- Adaptable & flexible to a changing Operating Environment
