**About the Position**
Anglicare’s Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home, social inclusion and community connectedness.

We are looking for Home Care Workers in the Kilcoy area
***on a permanent part time basis to provide practical and emotional support to our clients. Your support will enable our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes.
- Assisting with personal grooming and hygiene
- Medication assistance
- Transport assistance to activities or appointments in the community
- Domestic duties
- Food shopping, menu planning and meal preparation

**About You**
Our Home Care Workers are dedicated, reliable and flexible. They have a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping others.
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Disability Services or similar field
- Completion of Module HLTHPS006 - Assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain)
- Completion of Module HLTAAP001 - Recognise healthy body systems (or commitment to obtain)
- A current National Police Certificate
- Open Queensland Driver Licence and your own, reliable vehicle
- Immunisation against Tetanus, Hepatitis A and/or Hepatitis B (desired)
- Full Covid Vaccination evidence
- Strong communication and organisational skills - able to manage your time and support clients to do the same in an everyday capacity
