We are seeking a Support Worker to support a 30 year old lady with Autism living in Ascot who is a mother of two children. The successful applicant would assist and support the lady to maintain independence, develop life skills and encourage participation in activities in her local community. She also requires to be supported with attending appointments, support to assist her to take her child to Pre-Primary school, access the community, social support and assist to develop her independent living skills.
The right person would ideally be responsible, assertive and confident who can provide a positive role model for this lady.
This would suit someone who is looking to start their career as a Disability Support Worker, women also returning to the workforce are encouraged to apply.
This lady prefers to work with females similar to her age or a little older and her support team need to have sound communication skills, very good English, a calm manner, good sense of humour, a Working with Children’s Check, driver’s license and a road worthy car. We are seeking people who have a positive attitude to work and have excellent time management skills.
Support times will be morning and afternoon:
- Monday to Friday 8am -10am & 2pm-4pm._
- **The immediate gaps to fill are : Tues am & pm, Thur & Fri pm**_

- have a valid Australian Drivers Licence and your own reliable vehicle. - undertake, or be willing to undertake, an NDIS Module.
