Opportunities on offer for motivated individuals to support children and adults with disabilities to actively participate within their community and home life.
We are currently looking for people across the Mornington Peninsula and South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, to join our dynamic and friendly Disability Support team.
Working as part of the Disability support Team provides you with the opportunity to support individuals with all areas of their life, from participation in recreational and social activities to assistance with their day to day living and personal care. Shifts vary anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours in duration. Shift vary from morning, midday and evening

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- Clear and effective communications skills (both written and verbal)
- Initiative and self-motivation, this is an important skill that is required. Please considerate this before applying
- A positive and professional approach
- Availability to work a variety of shifts; morning, day, afternoon, evening and weekends.
- Flexibility, an ability to be flexible with ones schedule is desired
- Relevant qualifications are highly desirable, however, someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn will be considered.
- this includes mental health training and/or a cert 3/4 in Disability/Individual support
- Nursing qualifications are also desired
- Prior Work within a complex needs or behaviour support role is highly desirable.

- Cover Letter & Resume
- Current Certificate for First Aid (HLTAID003) & Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID001)
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia (Australian Passport/Australian Birth Certificate/ Australian Citizenship Certificate or International Passport & Visa)
- A copy of your Working with Children Check (WWCC) (Employer)
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- Ability to obtain a NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance prior to your commencement
- Relevant qualifications for this Job i.e certificate 3/4, diploma or degree
