A Global Insurance company requires a Credit Controller / Collections Officer to join their team in an energetic and hybrid office environment with a generous Commission structure.

**Duties Include:

- As a key member Credit Control/Collections department you will be responsible for Recoveries and Collections from Insured and Uninsured clients respectively
- You will play an important role in the recovery of fees/money owed to a range of clients in respect of credit policies, bonds, transactions and uninsured debts that are due for collection
- Using Relationship Management and negotiation skills to develop a trusting and amicable arrangement with policy holders, clients, debtors and 3rd parties
- Responsible for the careful oversight of a Portfolio of debts, implementing the agreed processes and systems to achieve desired goals and results.
- Collection calls to a variety of debtors including first party and third-party collections. You will strategically manage cases both in the legal and amicable collection phase.
- Recommending and execution/implementation of upgrades to the collection processes ; reducing time to collection, decrease operating expense and increasing efficiency
- Business/Finance/Legal related degree beneficial with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ideally 2-5 years experience in Credit Control/Collections/Accounts Receivable function in the business-to-business(B2B) environment
- Track Record of success and maintaining strong relationships in a Collections environment with experience of handling trust accounts and trust reconciliation advantageous
- Knowledge and/or experience with Debtor/Creditor Law.
- Proven negotiation skills, with a sound judgement and ability to assess cost effectiveness of actions
- Motivated professional who is flexible and strategic in approach, a self-starter, resilient and team player
