**About the Role**:
We are currently seeking an experienced General Foreman to join our team.

Whilst you will initially be based on our Waterfront Place project, this is a long-term career opportunity with John Holland offering growth opportunities and strong pipeline of iconic projects.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety, and environment management. And lead the implementation of our GMR’s
- Contribute to the development of detailed methodology sessions with the Area Engineers
- Develop and monitor rolling short term construction programs (4 week look ahead), and plan daily/weekly production works to program targets.
- Complete progress reporting of labour and materials for activities in progress (Site diaries), in a consistent and regular reporting cycle to the Site Manager and/or Project Manager
- Attend and contribute in Subcontractor Coordination meetings and ensure alignment of programs and available subcontractor resources to enhance project objectives.
- Attend and contribute to Prestart Meetings and Toolbox Talks for works under supervision.
- Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures.

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- People and Performance Management of subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour
- Skill in review of design documents, ability to understand drawings, provide constructability review and implement final design plans.
- Technical competency and understanding in the area that supervising
- Substantial Industry experience in Trade and Construction
