We are working with a leading Brisbane Creative Agency who is looking for a mid-level art director designer or a brand designer to join their team.

**About You**:

- You have a passion for branding and advertising
- You may be an art director designer or a brand designer
- You are able to develop conceptual designs with considered rationales
- You have strong craft and technical skills
- You have at least 5 years experience with a portfolio, accolades and awards to suit. International exposure and experience is a bonus.
- You want to own your projects but play well with others.
- You have excellent technical skills and craft.
- You have a strong design portfolio
- You’re likely to be working in a Design firm, not an ad agency
- You are a team player
- You are a positive communicator
- You are confident in yourself and your work
- You have great attention to detail
- You are able to manage your time effectively and thrive with several projects on at one time

**The Role**:

- Support creative director and senior designers to develop concepts and designs for a host of clients.
- Create work from a considered strategic positioning and develop considered design concepts and rationales
- Bring a fresh point of view and help us stay abreast of new design trends
- Create your own designs and support the team to roll out assets for larger design tasks and campaigns
- Develop brand guides, style guides and brand identity design systems
- Develop designs that can be effectively translated into successful digital experiences
- Collaborate with wider creative teams - including copywriters, art directors, strategists and content creators
- Commission and oversee 3rd party suppliers such as illustrators, photographers, and film production companies
- Create final art and relevant assets for print and/or publication

Software skills required:

- Photoshop
- Indesign
- Illustrator
- Microsoft office
- Social ad builders
- Adobe XD

You will need to have full work rights to work in Australia to be considered for this role.
