**About You**

As a **Leader of Pastoral Care**, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

To excel in this role, you will be able to:

- show evidence of ongoing and previous significant leadership experience in pastoral care and student wellbeing
- demonstrate experience in liaising with external agencies in supporting those students who require a high level of care
- show experience of working in and contributing to a Leadership Team
- create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
- demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach in one or more Key Learning Areas
- work with staff in accordance with adult learning principles
- work effectively to achieve sustained change and improvement
- show highly developed interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff
- employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
- support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
- demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
- integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.

You will have attained:

- a tertiary qualification in Education
- eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
