**About the Role**
We are currently seeking an **experienced Male Support Worker** to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be working one-on-one with a client who has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a strong interest in **Indigenous Australian** and **African cultures**.

This position offers **a minimum of 4 hours per week**, with the opportunity to grow depending on compatibility and client needs. Pay rate will depend on experience.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide person-centred support in line with the client’s individual goals and interests
- Assist with social engagement and community participation
- Build rapport through shared cultural interests and respectful communication
- Follow support plans and ensure a safe and supportive environment

**About You**
- Male (as required for client-specific support needs)
- Must be flexible
- Previous experience working with individuals with ASD is highly regarded
- Culturally aware and respectful, with genuine interest in Indigenous Australian and African cultures
- Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Available for consistent weekly shifts
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certification
- Full Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in Disability Support or a related field

Pay: $32.79 - $33.96 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 8 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:
