**About your new role**
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and skilled quality professional to join our supportive team in Moorabbin VIC. We have a state of the art facility awaiting you and you will get to sink your teeth into varied work by being responsible for leading and supporting the following;
**Leading**
- Management of a small team of QA team members - laboratory
- the quality agenda for the syrup manufacturing process
- compliance to meet all regulatory, customer and company requirements
- the implementation of process control and monitoring programmes inclusive of non-conformance resolution
- the servicing, upgrade and external calibration of all laboratory equipment
- reporting, escalation and implementation of corrective action plans for change management issues
**What will you be doing?**
- Management of QA team members - laboratory
- Maintaining quality of manufactured syrup
- Coaching, training and reviewing competency of operations team members including standard checking and calibration of equipment
- Manages NCR/syrup resolution for the operational teams for raw materials and ingredients
- Reviews quality and production process controls in operations and generate change management in conjunction with production teams as required
- Conduct internal audits and support the external audits program
- Oversee all compliance testing and calibration activities to ensure adherence the Quality Framework
**Let’s talk about you**
- Undergraduate degree qualifications or equivalent in a Science based discipline (ideally)
- 2 - 5 years’ experience in quality assurance role
- Proven leadership and people management role
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven safety accountability
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Awareness and understanding of QMS, HACCP and Food Safety Programmes
- Preferably experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing/Packaging Technology.
